Who can use Harbor
Harbor is for students ages 14 and up who are going through, or went through, their parents’ divorce or separation. One account per person, and please tell the truth about your age: Harbor’s safety rules depend on it.
Peer support, not professional help
Harbor connects you with people who’ve been through something similar. It isn’t therapy, medical or legal advice, and it isn’t a crisis service. If you’re in crisis, call or text 988, text HOME to 741741, or call 911 if you’re in immediate danger.
Community guidelines
- Be kind. Everyone here is going through something hard.
- Keep it on Harbor: no phone numbers, social media, links or meeting up.
- Never share photos, your address or your school.
- No harassment, hate, threats or sexual content.
- Don’t pretend to be someone else.
- Mentors are peers, not counselors: no professional advice, and never ask anyone for money.
- If anything feels wrong, report it. Every report is read.
How Harbor keeps things safe
Messages are checked automatically, and a chat may be read by Harbor’s safety team if a message is flagged or the chat is reported. Harbor can pause or remove any account that breaks these guidelines. Read more on the Safety page.
Free, always
Harbor is a nonprofit project. It’s free to use, with no ads and no payments: no money in, no money out.
